Today life struck hard. From one side nature shows itself at its best at the moment. Spring awoke so many things... new life in all sorts of shapes, sunny days, more light... But nature can also be very very hard. One of my friends blogged about his fight against cancer today. It seems life is giving up on him. The doctor says only to be able to prolong his life with another form of chemo. But although life seems to have given up on Daan... Daan himself sure does not give up on life! He has shown such a courage through his whole fight... I can not get into it here and now, but if you want to know more about this brave courageous 29year old, surf to www.groeienvoorbeginners.be
What I wanted to blog about today is about how blessed a person can be. One person might always seem to be blessed more than another, but is this always the truth? Doesn't everyone gives another importance to certain blessings we all have?
What are the blessings you find important in your life? I find it very important to stand still for at least 5 minutes every day and count my blessings. And how small these blessings might seem at a certain time... when you line them all up and you put them in an imaginary sky at night... how many stars are shining in your sky? Maybe it is an image to keep with you during the day. If you feel down, or something less good happens to you... go back to your star-light sky and smile!
I wish for all of you to have an amazing star-light sky at any point in your blessed life! And maybe at the end of these 5 minutes of counting your blessings you can send love to all those you care about... they will feel it, whether you believe it or not.
Enjoy your star-light sky!!!
